A mobile-first portal enabling financial advisors to submit a loan on their customer's behalf in seconds and manage their entire workflow anywhere, anytime.
Financial advisors and brokers operate in a fast-moving, relationship-driven environment — often meeting clients in person, at their offices, or on the road. Submitting and managing asset finance deals through a desktop-only portal meant brokers were either tied to their desks or forced to follow up later, slowing down the loan process and creating a poor experience for their clients.
Resimac Asset Finance needed a mobile-first broker portal that matched how advisors actually work — giving them the ability to start a new deal, calculate quotes, check current rates, and manage their pipeline from wherever they are, in seconds.
Consultative research with brokers and Resimac's distribution team. Mapped the typical broker day — from client meetings to deal submission — to identify where a mobile tool would have the highest impact on speed and workflow efficiency.
Prioritised the four core features a broker needs in the field: Deals management, Quote calculator, Rates reference, and Settings. Defined a navigation model that makes each tool accessible in one tap, with "Start new deal" as the persistent primary action.
Mobile-first, high-fidelity screens in Figma. Applied Resimac Asset Finance's dark-navy brand identity to create a portal that felt professional and distinct — suited to the B2B context and the expectations of financial advisors.
Iterative design reviews with Resimac stakeholders and broker representatives. Validated that the workflow coverage, deal submission flow, and quote calculator interaction met the real-world needs of the broker network before handoff.
The portal's navigation was designed around four tools that cover the complete broker workflow in the field. Deals gives brokers a live view of their pipeline — active submissions, pending approvals, and recently settled loans. Quote calculator lets advisors run instant indicative quotes for clients in a meeting. Rates provides up-to-date rate cards without needing to call the BDM. Settings and secure logout keep the professional context intact.
The persistent "Start new deal" button anchored at the bottom of every screen ensures the highest-priority action — submitting a new loan — is always one tap away, whether a broker is in a client meeting or following up from their car.
The dark-navy brand treatment was a deliberate choice: it positioned the portal as a professional, B2B-grade tool distinct from the consumer-facing Resimac experience — matching the expectations of financial advisors who use it as part of their professional toolkit.
